What is the schedule and location?

The class will meet at Aaron Crespi’s workshop for six Saturday mornings starting on May 23, 2026 from 9:00am - 1:00pm and will include a break in the middle. There will also be optional Wednesday evening sessions for those who let us know in advance.
The address is 320 Erwin Street in Petaluma, CA.
How is the class structured?

Each student will have their own spot at a workbench and access to a basic set up workshop tools. There will be hands on excercises in each class to practice various skills, gain familiarity with the tools, and start to build the selected project.
What do I need to bring?

Each student will need closed toe shoes and safety glasses. For those with long hair you’ll need to tie it back and don’t wear loose clothing as it can present a safety hazard. You’re also encouraged to bring your own tools - handplanes, saws, chisels, etc -don’t worry if they’re old or beat up.
For those who wish to buy lumber for the class project it will be available for an additional charge.
